Lawyers for the Sands and federal prosecutors met on Thursday after the Sands failed to obtain a dismissal. Prosecutors threatened to charge the Sands and a company executive with conspiracy to commit money laundering.
Now, the prosecution may indeed drop the case, with the Sands paying a fine and updating regulations on handling customer money.
Sands representatives stated that the casino was cooperating with federal investigations and denied any wrongdoing...

This just reeks.
It's embarrassing as Hell.
If a sitting Republican President did this, DU would be screaming bloody murder;
but since it's Obama, not so much? In fact I'm probably blaspheming with these
very remarks, and may suffer for it.
It's times like this though, when I consider just opting out of this whole fucking so-called
"system"; which is so corrupted to it's core, that it forces half its voters to have to hold
their nose half the time, even though "their guy" is in office.
