Bush’s FEMA Director During Katrina Criticizes Obama For Responding To Sandy Too Quickly

Source: Think Progress

Former FEMA Director Michael Brown offered criticism of President Obama’s early responses to Hurricane Sandy yesterday, including a dig at the administration’s response to last month’s attack in Libya.

Yesterday, ahead of the storm’s pummeling of the eastern seaboard, Brown gave an interview to the local alternative paper, the Denver Westword, on how he believed the Obama administration was responding to Sandy too quickly and that Obama had spoken to the press about Sandy’s potential effect too early.

Brown turned then to a reliable right-wing attack on the President’s response to the attack on a U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi that killed four Americans:

‘Heckuva job Brownie’ rips Obama for moving too fast on Hurricane Sandy

Michael Brown doesn’t think President Obama is doing a ‘heckuva job.’ The problem, says Brownie? Obama’s disaster relief efforts are moving too fast.

There were far too many "entire" families that were lost that were not recorded. Gov't estimates were around 2,000. That was under Bush and subject to a lot of guesswork. People who were there and worked it as disaster relief or citizens think the number may be as much as twice that. Many who received the red cross or FEMA money cards have "disappeared" after the money was gone.

But NOOOO! Michael Brown is a Bush guy, and that means that he's evil and totally incompetent at the same time.

So here he is, finger-painting his swastikas backwards and reminding everyone of the differences between a scholar's Presidency and a see-and-spell Presidency. If Romney had half a chance left, it's gone now--which certainly pleases Jeb Bush even if he didn't put Brownie up to it.
