(1,568 posts)who is the warmonger. Which confuses me a lot. I mean, if Putin invades then there will be a war. If Putin doesn't invade, then there won't be a war (well, at least it won't be enlarged)
Now, I understand from the domestic right, a lot of this is just politics in being against anything Biden does. If the Biden admin was ignoring this then they would be saying he's weak for not doing anything. I understand why Russian nationalists and Russophiles are cheering on Russia. I'm not 100% clear why so many anti-war left are either ignoring or cheering on Russia, though. I guess a lot of them are not really anti-war, but they anti certain wars, and pro unjustified invasions when done by the 'right' people. Why don't we hear anything about this from A.N.S.W.E.R coalition about Russia's likely invasion of Ukraine? I mean, they can also be against the US and other western countries providing weapons to Ukraine, but I would think they would also be totally against an invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
Few bat an eye when I say the Iraq invasion was immoral and wrong, but being against a Russian invasion of Ukraine apparently makes me a warmonger.

If it escalates we could see cyber attacks on infrastructure, satellites. The good news is our anti sat capabilities are far superior to russia.

(5,586 posts)Wouldn't be surprising for Ukraine to kick it off early to get in that first shot. Maybe try and destroy or damage the Istanbul canal to delay an amphibious landing.

Turkey would trigger the mutual defense clause of the NATO treaty.

(4,357 posts)The Kerch Straight is what Putin spanned with his new $12 billion dollar bridge from mainland Russia to Crimea. It separates the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
If I were in charge of Ukraine, that bridge would be on my high priority list of Russian things to destroy if Russia invades.

(17,002 posts)Could be very bad! PUTIN will sit on his ass while russian soldiers die! To add here i really believe this is to put HEAT to further divide America! Another part of little putins game plan. Wouldn't surprise me if TFG is somehow involved in this. (in a round about way)
