When I was searching for analysis on very pro-russian westerners.I don't think the article mentioned this guy, though. At least these weird little fellas are honest about their worldviews and their intentions.

Putin hijacked Cossack tradition/history and uses them as agents of his regime.

The Cossacks enforced Draconian laws for him at the Sochi Olympics years ago. See link at bottom please.

Putin did something similar with the Chechens-- hence there are two opposite Chechen movements-- facing each other in the Ukraine.

Our authorities don't need to do anything. Either Russia can take him, or he can emerge from the consulate and face justice. Personally I hope Russia takes him and uses him as cannon fodder in Ukraine.
