Arizona court declines most of Lake's appeal over gov's race

Source: AP

By JACQUES BILLEAUD today

PHOENIX (AP) — The Arizona Supreme Court has declined to hear most of Republican Kari Lake’s appeal in a challenge of her defeat in the governor’s race but revived a claim that was dismissed by a trial court.

In an order Wednesday, the state’s highest court said a lower court erroneously dismissed Lake’s claim challenging the application of signature verification procedures on early ballots in Maricopa County. The court sent the claim back to a trial court to consider.

Lake said late Wednesday that she’s thrilled with the ruling.

“The signature verification process in Maricopa County is a house of cards,” Lake said in a statement. “Thanks to this ruling my team will get the chance to topple it.”

Activist court.
They should have just dismissed the whole thing. But they threw her a bone because they knew how stupid MAGATs are and could be persuaded, if presented to them by any snake oil salesman or woman, that the whole election was fraudulent based on this one ruling. Or at least solidifies their beliefs.

Because would it even make a difference? This was one county, and only for early ballots in that county. And even IF the "verification procedures" were not properly done for some specific number of early ballots, it still doesn't mean that if it was done properly, she would have even had any more votes there regardless.

Disgusting watching her because she is smart and knows exactly what she is doing. Taking advantage of the "uneducated" that Trump loves so much.
