(8,835 posts)this will spread across the nation for parents that buy their kids guns and/or assault weapons.
I can't remember the name of that kid, whose mother bought him his assault weapon and then drove him to a demonstration where he shot several people and killed one, and the Judge let him off. She should be charged with some serious crime. It would serve to put all parents on notice, and/or same thing with legal age friends who buy one for friend.....ie: Columbine Murderer did that.
One of my questions is: Where do the kids get that much money as a teenager to buy those weapons? PARENTS !!!!!!!!!!

(20,200 posts)I question the wisdom of buying a firearm for any person who is under age, even a deer rifle. Have 2 rifles so you can take the kids hunting if you want, but all firearms in the home should be under lock and key.

(23,350 posts)who was given no help by parents. I assume the father will also be found guilty on the same charges when his trial comes up.
Given the bad parenting, would it be reasonable for Ethan to go to court to have his sentence reviewed? He was charged as an adult and given the max adult sentence of life without possibility of parole. Now it appears he was in no way "adult", and marginaly sane, so the sentence seems excessive.
It should be interesting. And it's a diversion from the trials and motions of TFG.

(12,390 posts)Two great court decisions.
I'd consider shorting Ruger, Colt Industries, Remington, Winchester and so forth.
