Britt defends use of graphic sex-trafficking story from 20 years ago to attack Biden
Source: Washington Post
The host of Fox News Sunday, Shannon Bream, asked Britt if she meant to give the impression that this horrible story happened on President Bidens watch.
Britt replied no before defensively explaining that she was speaking about the executive actions on the border that Biden took in his first 100 days as president.
Britt said she spoke to Border Patrol officers and victims of drug cartels during a trip to the border when she was a new senator. She said that was why she decided it would be important to elevate the story of a human trafficking victim, claiming without evidence that trafficking has gone up under the Biden administration.

(45,450 posts)since that's what happened to that poor girl 20 years ago. No evidence of any cartel connection either.
And of course no point allowing in people trying to flee that sort of violence right? The Christian thing to do is lie about it and keep them from getting any help.

(1,161 posts)Even in 2004, it was the rare organized crime activity that didn't have cartel fingers in the pie, especially in Guadalajara, where she was kidnapped. Most people outside of Mexico don't know how cartels have dominated all aspects of organized crime there since the 1980s.
The source for cartel involvement in her case has been Ms Jacinto, and it's safe to say she wasn't in a position to know, really, if her captors had cartel associations.
