Sen. Mark Kelly: Kari Lake's rhetoric 'could result in people getting hurt or killed'

Source: NBC

Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly on Friday blasted Arizona GOP Senate candidate Kari Lake for her recent violent rhetoric, telling NBC News' "Meet the Press," that Lake's comment could result in people "getting hurt or killed."

Kelly, a Democrat, was asked about comments, first reported by NBC, that Lake made last month at a campaign event, where she said, "They’re coming after us with lawfare, they’re going to come after us with everything. That’s why the next six months is going to be intense. And we need to strap on our — let’s see. What do we want to strap on?"

She added, “We’re going to strap on our, our seat belt. We’re going to put on our helmet or your Kari Lake ball cap. We are going to put on the armor of God. And maybe strap on a Glock on the side of us just in case.”

Kelly admonished Lake for her rhetoric, telling moderator Kristen Welker in an interview that aired Sunday, "when you’re a candidate for the United States Senate, you need to be careful with your words. We’ve seen this throughout history. So I hope people reject that. I think they should consider their language and try to do better going forward."

That is part of their plan.
Create chaos, division, violence, fear.

Good to see some people in government are looking at the situation and seeing the threat, I hope something can be done.

The Republicans don't oppose vote-by-mail for no reason, and it's not because they love to see Democrats at the polls.

Cruelty is the END, not just the means.

See some of my posts on cult behavior.

Hopefully, the fascination that people outside the really sick and deluded inner core of the cult had with the unbridled violence has peaked and will subside.

I think that "ordinary" people might like to shoot up some tin cans, or go down to the waste recycling plant to "shoot the shit" but might have lost the fascination with shooting everything in sight (including pets).

I’d like to think she doesn’t have a chance but you never know.

12. Maybe a strap-on humper too? Her partner (ewh!) should be careful of that strap-on as it might be Lake's gun!
