Kennedy Adviser Leaves Campaign, Citing 'Hateful and Divisive Atmosphere'
Source: NYT
Angela Stanton King, a former Trump supporter who joined the campaign in December, was a high-profile figure in Robert F. Kennedy Jr.s circle.
A key adviser to Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is stepping away from his presidential campaign, citing an increasingly hateful and divisive atmosphere that no longer aligns with my values.
Angela Stanton King, the campaigns adviser for Black engagement, announced her departure in a statement on social media on Tuesday evening, five months after she was added to the campaigns payroll. In a text message, Ms. Stanton King said she had switched to an informal role. Asked for the reason for the switch, she pointed to her statement on social media.
After much reflection, Ive decided to step away from the political theater, that statement said. The increasingly hateful and divisive atmosphere no longer aligns with my values.
The Kennedy campaign did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Still see some Trump 2020 signs, though. Talk to one of them about their understanding and don't get anywhere.

(20,811 posts)When the [Redacted] puppetmasters realized that the Wormbrain campaign is more of a threat to [Redacted] than to Biden, they recalled this "loaner" who was doubtless sent there to gin up shit on their behalf.
They laaaaaahved Wormbrain when it looked like he'd mostly split the Biden vote. Assigning one of their helots there to 'boost appeal to Black people' is targeted ratfucking right out of their playbook.
But once they realized the Black people responding positively to Wormbrain's incoherent conspiracy babble were the same limited group responding well to [Redacted]'s hatewargleblurb, they realized they'd made a mistake.
This is a good sign as it means they know some of their demographic margins are razor thin, and they really don't have the luxury of certain types of ratfucking anymore.
So, good on you, Angela! Get right on back to the warm embrace of the Whitereich with your bad self!
amusedly,
