Sen. Mark Kirk Climbs Capitol Steps In Return To Congress (VIDEO)

Sen. Mark Kirk (R-IL) made a triumphant return to Congress on Thursday after a stroke and subsequent recovery 11 months ago.
Kirk was greeted by many members of the House and Senate at the Capitol steps, who cheered and waved as Kirk slowly made his way to the top. Vice President Joe Biden and Sens. Dick Durbin (D-IL) and Joe Manchin (D-W.Va) helped Kirk to the entrance.

(95,337 posts)1. Glad to see he's getting healthy, can't wait to put him out of a job in 2014
I blame Blogovich for the fact that there is a Republican in that seat now. He tried to play god with determining who would replace Obama and ended up creating a nightmare that turned off alot of Illinois voters. I suspect when re-election comes around that seat goes back to the democrats.
