McConnell vows to repeal Obama health care law

Source: AP

Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky is vowing to repeal President Barack Obama's sweeping health care law.

McConnell spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference next to a tower of 20,000 pages of health care rules and regulations. He calls it a "monument to liberalism" and says Republicans will not back down from the fight.

McConnell faces re-election next year. He says Republicans need to rebound from election losses last year and, quote, "punch back." He says Democrats haven't had a new idea, quote, "since the days of the Studebaker."

He compares the possibility of Democrats nominating Hillary Rodham Clinton or Joe Biden for president in 2016 to, quote, a "rerun of 'The Golden Girls.'"

Hey Mitch-the only republicantealibertariansdemographically are older white males and some younger white males

You just insulted 99% of those backing you

Hillary is going to kick the republicans ass and hopefully Ashley Judd will kick Mitch's so he is only a spectator in 2016

himself (McConnell is older than Hillary)? Should make a great campaign ad for Judd - McConnell thinks he is too old for the job. We should take him at his word and let him retire.

I feel like the GOP has become a huge political version of Tayler Swift.

Maybe the problem is them...

She single handedly revolutionized the staid country music industry

and her lyrics are not in any way the old male crying in your beer type lyrics

Trouble is strong female entertainers (even those the media at first lauds), soon find themselves on barbs all over.

BTW, personally I think the Kanye/Taylor incident was pre-planned and it actually helped Taylor cred wise.

Keep at it, Mitch. It's obvious he's confusing his party with the Democrats. The GOP is trying to take us back to the days of the Studebaker: illegal abortions, women stay home, have babies and keep their mouths shut, gay people don't exist, and we still get involved in wars without justification.

He sure doesn't want the tax rates for the top incomes to return to the same rates, though.

Judd, Judd, Judd: the cure for stupid.

Turtleman says no new ideas since the Studebaker well that puts the Democrats a big step ahead of the Republicans because the Republicans haven't had a new idea since the horse and buggy were the primary form of transportation.

They have completely wasted the time and the money they are being paid by American taxpayers by grandstanding with these fucking antics. Instead of governing, they pull this shit over and over and over.

They have NO solutions that serve the nation as a whole, nothing but greed, avarice, aspersion, bad attitudes and childish behavior. Make NO mistake, these young repukes are same as the old repukes. They are cornered, they know it, and they will never, do you hear me?, never come to the table dealing fairly and squarely, because they are ALL about any thing with "edges and angles".>>>FKM!

I love turtles. They are great creatures. We need to get rid of ol' Tortoise Puss so turtles can get back their rightful good name.

Turtles are much smarter than this moron too.
