Dick Cheney Suggests Republicans Subpoena Hillary Clinton On Benghazi

Source: The Huffington Post

WASHINGTON -- Former Vice President Dick Cheney met with House Republicans on Thursday morning, suggesting they may need to subpoena former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to get more answers on the deadly Sept. 11, 2012, attack in Benghazi, Libya.

"I think Hillary [Clinton] should be subpoenaed if necessary," Cheney said during the gathering, according to Fox News.

Since the Benghazi attack, Republicans have been hammering the Obama administration and arguing that Clinton and her inner circle engaged in a "cover-up" of what really happened. On Wednesday, they held a nearly six-hour-long hearing before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on the matter.

...........

Cheney has not always been so fond of congressional subpoenas. In fact, the Bush administration cited executive privilege and routinely denied requests for officials to appear before the legislative branch to testify during the U.S. attorney firing scandal. Cheney himself described the probe into whether the Bush administration's firing of federal prosecutors was political as "a bit of a witch hunt."

Pot, the kettle is calling..........

Cheney who, along with Bush and Rumsfeld, should have been prosecuted for malfeasance over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan is telling the Republicans to subpoena Hillary???

The unmitigated gall of the guy!!!!!

She doesn't suffer fools gladly. It may also have the opposite effect that they desire. If they annoy her enough, she may decide to run in 2016 just to show them that they mess with her at their own peril. They may also piss off many people who were neutral on the Benghazi issue.

They are NOT going to do to her (and Obama, for that matter) what they did to her husband. People will not allow it.

But it wasn't enough for the vultures. They have already received thousands of pages of information, but they won't give up until they dirty up Obama and Hillary (they fear that she will run in 2016).

This is a twofer for them, soil Obama and in the process damage Hillary's reputation. In their book it's a win-win situation.

They didn't find squat. So they entrapped Bill. He lied over a fling with a more than willing woman and for that they impeached him.

Meanwhile, Bush started two wars that caused the death of thousands of people, many of them women and children. And what do the Democrats do when they win a majority in the House? They choose to take impeachment off the table.

if you act on the allegations against the Bush Administration submitted to the World Court on the International stage. We don't owe the Bush Administration anything. I'm not the President of the United States though but I can fight fire with fire. And if the rightwingers want to secede, I can oblige them with that too. It would do a lot of damage to America but that is the road they want take as President Lincoln once said.

They are the minority and do not represent America. They are doing nothing but pissing off the rest of us. And we are all not chickenhawks. They better be glad one of us is not President, because I think Obama is too soft on them. With all the things they have done violating our Rights, we can have investigations, they may not like. And I definately would not make the mistake of putting one of them the head of a Federal Law Enforcement Agency or they will be violating more people's rights.

What the hell does he mean about "taking this? Just what is is they think they are "taking?" And i think its obvious this was a threat of violence..

I think that at some point we are going to have a showdown with them..Not sure what that showdown involves since they are so crazy but we just can not continue with out nation held hostage to their insanity...
