Bangladesh Garment Factory Collapse Death Toll Reaches 1,000

The death toll from the collapse of the Bangladesh garment factory building two weeks ago has risen to 1,000, Shahnewaz Mohammad Golam Zakaria, an army captain in control room supervising the rescue operation, said by phone.
