Source: Associated Press via ABC News

STOCKHOLM September 2, 2013 (AP)
By KARL RITTER Associated Press

... Foreign Minister Carl Bildt told The Associated Press on Monday that government surveillance of the Internet is "going on worldwide" and is not something on the agenda during Obama's visit Wednesday and Thursday.

"We are not entirely innocent ourselves," Bildt said in a phone interview. "We conduct both intelligence and security operations on the Net. But they are regulated by law. And we have stringent safeguards and surveillance of them."

He also noted that the European Union already is in discussions about "data privacy" issues with the United States ...

It consists of four paragraphs.

Paragraphs 2 through 4 make no reference that supports the headline, "Sweden Won't Raise Online Spying When Obama Visits"

With respect to the only remaining paragraph, paragraph 1, you say that the article "seems to quote Swedes."

In paragraph 1, the only quoted material consists of three words: "going on worldwide". The quoted material does not support the headline, "Sweden Won't Raise Online Spying When Obama Visits".

Obviously, if you think that you know that "Sweden Won't Raise Online Spying When Obama Visits," you should be smart enough to know that the Obama Administration knows this in advance. There is nothing inappropriate with my response, "And the Obama Administration knows this in advance?"

Since it is already known that Obama Administration has been violating the rule of law, and the Constitution in particular, by spying upon all of us, it is also not inappropriate to ask, as I did, "Have they been snooping?"

Of course they have been snooping. Please pay attention. It's been in the news.

Swedes are quite sensitive when it comes to integrity, more so than Americans seem to be. At work we regularly use Goggle Docs for administration, but that is something that we are about to change. I know that other organizations, such as political parties, are trying to change their habits of using services with servers placed in America. In many cases, however, they are looked into contracts with companies like Microsoft and Oracle.

I had some gigantic dogs sniffing my bicycle today. Obama is coming to my work place (KTH, Stockholm) tomorrow and our lab will be temporarily shut down. He won't visit our robotics lab though, but some other labs working on green energy systems. For some reason the computer security lab and supercomputer center are shut down too.
