Al-Qaeda Leader Calls To Bleed US Economy

Source: Associated Press

Published: Friday, 13 Sep 2013 | 9:31 AM ET

Al-Qaeda's leader on Friday marked the anniversary of the Sept.11, 2001, attacks by calling on Muslims to strike inside the United States, with big attacks or small, using any opportunity they can to "bleed" America financially.

In an audio message released two days after the 12th anniversary of the attacks, Ayman al-Zawahri said America is not a "mythic power" and that the mujahedeen, Islamic holy warriors can defeat it with attacks "on its own soil."

Al-Zawahri, the successor to Osama bin Laden, used the anniversary to argue that the United States can be defeated by targeting its economy. At the same time, he also addressed the ongoing upheaval in the Arab world.

Pointing to a power struggle going on within the rebellion against Syria's regime, he warned that jihadi fighters in that country's civil war should not "compromise" with more secular or moderate rebel factions ,who he said would eventually turn against the al-Qaeda-linked radicals.

Join Legs Dimon and Pretty Boy Lloyd in buying derivatives with other people's retirement funds or swindling middle class families out of their homes. You and your pals will make a mint and meet your stated goal. In addition, America's political leaders will regard you as a pillar of society and members of Senate Committees will kiss you ass instead of hunting you down. That would be a lot easier on a man your age than running around the mountains hiding from predator drones, wouldn't it?

Add all the loss of productive time taking our shoes off and wait for them to go through the X-ray machine, then putting them back on.....

We are spending 3 times on Homeland Security compared to before 911. Yet it did not stop Boston bombing.

All our emails and phone calls are being tapped and recorded.

I would say Al Qaeda is succeeding.

We've been pilfered and plundered by our bought and paid for corporate owned politicians already. Need I mention how much richer (at taxpayers' expense) Bush and Cheney and their cronies got during his administration? Or how many of their cronies are still making money off taxpayers even now? We've already been bled dry. They are going to be mighty disappointed when they come for our blood only to find out we have none left to give. Every damn dime we make goes back to the rich who collect money from us every time we turn around. Let's face it: America is already a vampire owned livestock farm as it is, when it comes to our economy.
