Jerry Brown to reporter: 'Are you a Moonie, by any chance?'

Picket suggested things changed in California when Republican Gov. Ronald Reagan came into office "later on," after Brown's first two terms as governor, from 1975 to 1983.

"No, Reagan came before me," Brown said. "Reagan came after my father, and then I came after Reagan."

When Picket asked again about bankruptcy, Duran said, "You're lying."

Brown asked her, "Are you a Moonie, by any chance?"

BTW, right before delivering his SOTS speech, he questioned the Republicans delivering the rebuttal about their criticism to HIS speech being given BEFORE he had delivered it. On camera. Love it!

Here's where some guys get their ideas from:

A STUDY OF ASSASSINATION

EXCERPT...

2. Accidents.

For secret assassination, either simple or chase, the contrived accident is the most effective technique. When successfully executed, it causes little excitement and is only casually investigated.

The most efficient accident, in simple assassination, is a fall of 75 feet or more onto a hard surface. Elevator shafts, stair wells, unscreened windows and bridges will serve. Bridge falls into water are not reliable. In simple cases a private meeting with the subject may be arranged at a properly-cased location. The act may be executed by sudden, vigorous (excised) of the ankles, tipping the subject over the edge. If the assassin immediately sets up an outcry, playing the "horrified wit ness", no alibi or surreptitious withdrawal is necessary. In chase cases it will usually be necessary to stun or drug the subject before dropping him. Care is required to insure that no wound or condition not attributable to the fall is discernible after death.

Falls into the sea or swiftly flowing rivers may suffice if the subject cannot swim. It will be more reliable if the assassin can arrange to attempt rescue, as he can thus be sure of the subject's death and at the same time establish a workable alibi.

Remember them, they had a section for conservatives over by the sex mags. The Washington Times was there along with others for the mindless set. They didn't sell too well. Every week or so they would bring a trash can in and dump a whole week of issues.

I don't think they sell any better now, Especially with it seems, well I won't even call them reporters, how about well I just can't think of what to call those folks except unprepared.

There are only one think to do with conservative zines. add them to the compost pile instead of dung. If you don't use too much it will get nice and cook the max well.

Actually I had a friend who put a small TV with FAUX NEWS on and used that to cook his compost pile. the only problem he had was he had to turn it off when Ann Coulter came on.

It really works though, try it out!

...of the story, starting with the picture and distorted headline. Makes it appears someone called the Governor a 'moonie' (a la 'Gov. Moonbeam stories) and he is on the defensive(not true). The person who created the story by her ignorance(the reporter) is who should be defending herself for not doing her homework.

They raise their children well. My first year teaching in a magnet program - half of my students came from Moonie families. These children were happy and the smartest students in my class. i enjoyed the families' invitations to tea ceremonies and remember the peacefulness of these children. There is something that they're doing right.
