'Astounding' warmth recorded across Alaska last month, according to climate center

Source: Alaska Dispatch

The dramatic adjectives come from the normally staid Alaska Climate Research Center, which reports on the wet-and-warm month in a new summary that highlights the drumbeat of shattered records in both temperature and precipitation.

ground. I can wear a hoodie outside today. We are 2.5 months off the usual weather pattern. It is that late coming the way it should. I have green grass on my lawn and some of my trees still have green leaves. I live on the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska.

Alaska can stretch from the Atlantic to the Pacific and has every bit as many differences in climate as the lower forty eight does. Right now there is an eighty degree difference between where I live and other Alaskan cities. Many times this month it has been close to a hundered degree difference. Fairbanks is sitting at forty below while Juneau is at forty above. Our December has not been all that warm and we have had over ten feet of snow already. Go figure...

The science community ( the real scientists not The Lord moncktons) say that what happens is extremes in weather with calamitous results .i'm not a scientist but know that these people are and trust their expertise .they are up against very powerful interests that don't hesitate in spinning everything With their media interests.
