(60,010 posts)The guy is out of control, showing appalling judgment, showing classic signs of addiction, and now admits to driving while intoxicated.
Very unstable behavior, which has a high probability of bloodshed and mayhem down the road.
How much road he has left is anyone's guess.
Given that body mass, and enough cocaine use, he could blow out his heart.

(14,173 posts)Which has more population combined than greater Toronto.
The reason for this was a masterplan by the previous Conservative provincial government who was driven out of office for other deplorable reasons. The Cons changed the boundaries and what previously was separate districts, were combined (in the name of cutting costs of course). So now, the outskirts, who are made up of the mostly right wing yokels who are taken in by one-liners like Ford's "Stop the Gravy Train!", decide for Toronto who their mayor is.

(2,640 posts)He could probably get a job as a Congressional Republican. He'd be in good company. He could primary John Cornyn, and we'd have two great Canadian Senators in Texas.

(17,064 posts)And, there is no mechanism to remove Ford unless he's convicted of a crime. Toronto Police say the video alone isn't sufficient evidence to charge him under Canadian law. So it looks like Toronto is stuck with him, barring new developments.

(16,846 posts)I heard that the suburbs voted for this guy in order to get back at the people in the original city of Toronto. If so, they should be very happy with him.
