....

When the issue of the level of bail/bond came up, his lawyer went on about how "he has ties to the community, knows people, etc. etc. etc."

Okay, fine.

Then, when the judge said that a third party should go back to the house to retrieve his belongings, the lawyer said "he doesn't know anyone who could do that for him"!!!

WTF?? Which is it, it can't be both!!!!

But back to the pregnancy, they showed her leaving the house yesterday afternoon, my guess is that she's pregnant.

In this thread that appeared on FR yesterday, post #4 reads:

Zimmerman should move out of the country. It's obvious that Holder has it in for him and he's being Alinskyed.

I hate this POS administration.

Post #14 adds:

Bad case of PTSD. His life is over thanks to the press and race hustlers, our President included. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him commit suicide at some future date.

To be fair, however, I should note that Zimmerman has now lost even some of the Freepers -- e.g., in #16, "He’s an idiot. He’s already had more than a lifetime’s worth of stupid preventable mishaps."

Public defender: Zimmerman is $2.5 million in debt

By Rene Stutzman and Jeff Weiner, Orlando Sentinel

SANFORD — A beleaguered George Zimmerman walked out of the Seminole County Jail on Tuesday, free on bail from his latest brush with the law ....

Defense attorney Daniel Megaro met with Zimmerman at the jail before Tuesday's hearing. He and co-counsel Jeff Dowdy, both with the Public Defender's Office, said they saw no evidence that their client was volatile, suicidal or seriously mentally ill ...

Dowdy said that Zimmerman is indigent and in $2.5 million in debt ... In court paperwork, Zimmerman wrote that he has a total of $144 ...

Came from him?

The press, followed by the public, immediately assumed it was from her and started at her when it was reported to be untrue.

It's bad enough she decided to get involved with this menace. I don't even want to go there because I simply can't understand it.

But then for her to have to face "liar" accusations as well as a lot of other disparaging comments is truly unfair.

Everyone, even George Zimmerman, is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Bail isn't supposed to be used to punish someone before there's been a trial, let alone a conviction. Its sole legitimate purpose is to secure the defendant's attendance at trial.

Zimmerman is not a flight risk. He has a highly recognizable face. In fact, his notoriety (equating to popularity with the right wing) is just about his only significant asset. He's not going to try to drop out of sight, and he wouldn't succeed if he did.

George Zimmerman's girlfriend said he tried to choke her about a week ago during an altercation that wasn't initially reported to police, a prosecutor told a judge Tuesday during his first court appearance on domestic violence-related charges.

The prosecutor said Zimmerman's girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, was in fear for her life because Zimmerman mentioned suicide and said he "had nothing to lose." Zimmerman's public defenders said after the hearing that he didn't appear to be suicidal.
