NSA agents are posing as Santa Claus, sings ACLU

It's been a year in which the alleged needs of security have made many people feel more insecure.
So now as we all prepare to gather round with our families, the American Civil Liberties Union would like to remind us that Santa Claus does exist, but he might be an NSA agent.
In a YouTube video made, I imagine, to make you titter and quiver, we hear a famous song that's been infiltrated.
"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" has become "The NSA Is Coming To Town."

He knows if you've been bad or good so be good for goodness sake!" That narrows him down to CIA, KGB, the German BND and the Stasi. His English is too good to be BND, the Stasi broke up long ago and "twenty years in Siberia" is what the KGB liked to hand out. So he's gotta be CIA.

(57,936 posts)None of us really knows why they are spying so much. Sure. Terrorism is a threat. But the spying is too broad, covers too many communications to be just focused on catching terrorists. Too much money is spent on it. It cannot just be about terrorists.
