Iran 'ready to answer' questions by IAEA

Iran will answer all questions from the UN atomic agency about its nuclear programme, a senior Iranian official has said ahead of talks in Iran in which military-related issues could be discussed.

Saturday's meeting with the International Atomic Energy Agency will build on a framework deal agreed in November that required Tehran to take six practical steps by next Tuesday.

With completion of those measures - including a visit to an unfinished heavy-water reactor at Arak - negotiations on "more difficult things" are expected to begin, said Yukiya Amano, the IAEA chief.

Behrouz Kamalvandi, the spokesman for the IAEA, said the meeting had been scheduled for one day but might be extended, the ISNA quoted him as saying on Friday.
