Missouri man charged with hate crime in Old Market (Omaha) assault is ordered to stand trial

A man charged with felony assault in an Omaha case that is being prosecuted as a hate crime will stand trial.
A Douglas County judge on Wednesday also lowered bail for Gregory S. Duncan, 35, of Fenton, Mo., from $100,000 to $15,000.
Duncan must post $1,500 to be released from jail, and he must get permission to leave Nebraska. He is charged with third-degree assault. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison.
The charge stems from an Oct. 27 incident in the Old Market.
