Photo Of Obama In Conservative Attack Ad Is Photoshopped From Hospital Trip After Aurora Shooting
Source: Buzzfeed
Conservative group Americans For Prosperity cut out the hospital and the governor of Colorado to show President Obama and Democratic Sen. Mark Udall looking sad together for a negative campaign ad.
WASHINGTON President Obama and Colorado Sen. Mark Udall stand together looking dismayed in Americans For Prosperitys latest ad attacking Udall over his vote for Obamacare.
Theres a reason for that, though a viewer wouldnt guess it from the picture AFP, an outside group funded by the Kochs, uses in the ad. The image is from a July 2012 appearance Obama made with Udall, Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper, and other state officials at a hospital treating victims of the July 20, 2012, Aurora movie theater shooting.

(17,505 posts)I find it amusing that they think anybody but their braindead minions find this some kind of persuasive argument.
The anti-Kay Hagan ads in NC rest entirely on this...and the astonishing information that Dems (gasp!) vote for Dem legislation (noooo!) championed by a democratically elected Dem president! (WTF?)
Yes, it is now detrimental that Dems vote Dem!
Of course Repugs would never just follow the leader and all vote as a single entity for legislation proposed by other Repugs. Never!

(45,615 posts)Senator Mark Warner is openly campaigning in the reddest corners of Virginia in support of the PPACA and shares his list of improvements to fill coverage gaps if the GOP controlled house didn't block it for political spite. More Dems in tough districts and states should do the same. Doing something is better ethically and politically than doing nothing.
Mark Udall is supporting the ACA and could benefit from supporting more specific plans to improve it.
