Boehner to appoint select Benghazi committee

Source: boston.com (AP)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Speaker John Boehner will schedule a vote to create a select committee to investigate the Benghazi attack.

Boehner says the Obama administration misled the American people after the deadly attack in 2012. And he says emails released this week show that it withheld documents from congressional investigators.

He asks, quote, ‘‘What else about Benghazi is the Obama administration still hiding from the American people?’’

A senior Republican aide says the speaker may choose Republican congressman Trey Gowdy of South Carolina to chair the select committee.

The aide isn’t authorized to speak publicly on the matter and demanded anonymity.

The U.S. needs JOBS...J.O.B.S.! Do something! Fock!

It kind of makes me wonder, perhaps they created some new web of lies, and are going to do a "Oh my! Look at what we found!" bit.

Then, as always, they'll get caught in the lie, brush it under the carpet, and people will still vote for them.

Well then certainly you must know that Obama personally made the video and then ordered the attacks from his prayer rug in the oval office. For you to detect fishiness here means you have finally recovered your olfactory sense after eight years and 10 tons of dead mackerels the last administration left rotting on the constitution while maintaining the right of total secrecy about it all. Good for you!

Without the blow job, you got nothing.

Which, of course, we know they have nothing. It's just a ruse to get their base out to the polls and a convenient smoke screen for their disregard for wages and economical issues.

The bad thing is that the media is going to be all too willing to drop to their knees with drooling mouths to orally receive Republican phallus. That's the big caveat and the Republicans are counting on it. Otherwise, they wouldn't bother with this.

So, the Democrats had better stick to the wage and economic issues like Clinton did during Monica. And Obama needs to keep his yap shut about botched executions and the like because that further enables the Teapukes.

He, along with his fellow racists, are the enemies of the working class. What has always amassed me is that some African-Americans and Latinos actually belong to the this tribe of hate mongers. It is beyond my comprehension that people of color support a party in which the vast majority actually despise them. They kiss the ass of the very same people who are determined to deny minorities health care and refuse to allow debate on raising the minimum wage. They are regarded with outright contempt yet people like Michael Steel get on TV and plead their cause. I can't help from considering that they are crass opportunists that are willing to sell their soul for a buck. If someone can explain it to me, I would appreciate it.

After Bush/Cheney lied us into a war, Nancy Pelosi famously said in 2006 that "Impeachment was off the table" This was the stupidest political move in American history. Even if you weren't going to do it, why would you publicly state it?

Now a non-scandal dreamed up by Rep Issa and the Obama haters will flame the notion that Obama is somehow responsible for Benghazi and Fox Fucking News will make people believe it. Next, they will call for impeachment, especially if the Republic-pukes retake the Senate.

The Democrats should shop trying to always take the "high ground" and realize that we are dealing with a republican Party of insane, racist, jerks who will stop at nothing to destroy a Democratic president when he hasn't done anything wrong, yet give pass to the president from their party who allowed 9/11 to happen and then lied us into a preemptive war. There are NO RULES ANYMORE, so stop pretending there are!

Readers might be forgiven for believing that Boehner sees the administration, and not the attackers, as the enemy.

http://boehner.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=378677

“The House committees that have been investigating this attack have done extraordinary work, using their subpoena power, holding dozens of hearings, and conducting hundreds of interviews. Without this work we would not know much that we do today. But it’s clear that questions remain, and the administration still does not respect the authority of Congress to provide proper oversight. This dismissiveness and evasion requires us to elevate the investigation to a new level. I intend for this select committee to have robust authority, and I will expect it to work quickly to get answers for the American people and the families of the victims.
