GOP Senate hopeful Monica Wehby accused of harrassment, stalking

Source: MSNBC

Until recently, Oregon Republican Senate hopeful Monica Wehby was known mostly as a rare chance for the GOP hopeful to be competitive in a blue state, and a candidate with a campaign ad quickly dubbed one of the best of the year. But on the eve of the state’s primary Tuesday, Wehby’s Republican and Democratic opponents are seizing on another way to define her – as an unstable stalker.

On Monday, The Oregonian published a 2007 police report about an altercation between Wehby and her soon-to-be-ex-husband Jim Grant, in which he accused her of “ongoing harassment.” The couple has accused each other of acting violently, with Grant admitting to it: ”Jim said over the last year Monica has pulled his hair, slapped him and thrown items at him. Jim said he had been violent with her in the past approximately three years or so ago.”

This follows revelations that in April 2013, Wehby’s ex-boyfriend, Andrew Miller, called the police to complain that she was “stalking” him and had repeatedly entered his home uninvited. Politico reported on the incident Friday, on the morning of the primary debate. On the same day, The Oregonian published audio of the call.

I was thinking---and there clearly is a "emotionally disturbing" pattern developing here...

The Oregon GOP will choose between this "I'm not a witch-I'ma Stalker" person OR Conger who is a card carrying member of ALEC....they must be proud.

I'm keeping Sen Merkley

the operating table than I would to Dr. Mengele. She looks crazy. That pic of her is pretty accurate. I saw her this morning on a clip on Morning Joe and those eyes really looked strange to me...you can'thelp notice them...

Something to do with the spinal cord.

I think she's crazy, too.

He said that when her name came up at a brain conference awhile ago, the entire room burst into laughter (these were her peers). He said this was well before this stalking stuff had come out, and that he'd never seen a reaction like that in a professional setting.

and has been drip drip dripping for six days now.

Somebody with big bucks has been backing Wehby. The advertising on TV is relentless. She's a total puppet candidate and would be a disaster in the Senate.

Her ads appear on DU frequently (probably because I live in Oregon). I am glad she is wasting her money like that. Her motto: "I was against Obamacare before it was cool to be against Obamacare." By the way, during the recent Century Link flap, their ads were frequently up on DU.

I am sorry but these incidents should disqualify her as a candidate and it should also have the medical board looking into her professional licenses. I can understand the emotions that go with a divorce, but to repeat the same behavior 6 years later shows a pattern. It also proves to me that the Tea Party is very bad at properly vetting their potential candidates unless of course they are just going for the most right wing candidate they come across. Funny thing is the same paper that outed her behavior also supported her candidacy.

She shouldn't keep going over to the old house stalking, she shouldn't be answering calls/texts and if she has her junk 'she needs' still there pay her Lawyer to get it all out.
