White House: UN school shelling ‘indefensible’

Source: AP

WASHINGTON — The White House said Thursday there’s little doubt Israeli artillery hit a United Nations school in Gaza, a deadly incident that a spokesman called “totally unacceptable and totally indefensible.”

The shelling occurred amid growing White House frustration with the scope of the civilian casualties resulting from Israel’s ground and air war against Hamas. Palestinian health officials said at least 17 people were killed and 90 wounded in the Wednesday school attack — the latest in a series of strikes the U.N. says has hit facilities that are supposed to be safe zones.

The White House initially condemned the shelling, but pointedly did not assign blame. But one day later, spokesman Josh Earnest said “it does not appear there’s a lot of doubt about whose artillery was involved.”

Nauseating.

His analogy was "what would you do if a neighbor keeps lobbing bricks into your house? Would you not go and defend yourself?" I was so tempted to call and say, "If I was occupying the neighbor's back yard, foyer and living room, I'd understand a neighbor throwing bricks at me."

I hate this..I hate being a US taxpayer supporting this shit AGAINST MY

WILL...WTF?..Why does this go on?...Don't the Israelis need us

MORE than we need them?...

Why should we be supporting this slaughter?...It's not only

completely WRONG, morally, it makes the REST of the world hate us,

which then makes us unsafe!

The White House fully supports Israel in the Deeds department...this rhetorical criticism by the White House is belied by the White House providing free war material to Israel as it goes Medieval on Palestinians ....
