Rick Jervis and Doug Stanglin, USA TODAY 1:14 p.m. EDT October 15, 2014

DALLAS — A 26-year-old nurse identified as the second Texas hospital worker to test positive for Ebola is "ill but clinically stable" and will be transferred late Wednesday to Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

The nurse, identified by family members as Amber Vinson, was identified by Martha Schuler, the mother of Vinson's former stepfather.

Big surprise, that. The next one will probably be in the NE.

since case #1. They get a big vote of No Confidence from me.

And all these people (Duncan's family members, Dr Nancy Snyderman, Snyderman's team member, and Amber Vinson) who are ignoring their quarantines should have some repercussions for endangering the public health. This last nurse should have to reimburse the government for the money now being spent to track down all the people she came in contact with on the plane and elsewhere when she disregarded the quarantine.

Don't really want to be punitive like that, but everyone needs to start taking Ebola quarantines seriously. People's lives literally may depend on that.

There's not a damned thing the government can do to her. She wasn't told to isolate herself. She probably started her travel day, felt a bit funny, took her temp late that evening when she got home, and called the hospital early the next morning when she found it still elevated. Early symptoms are very mild in many.

If you don't TELL people to quarantine themselves, don't be surprised and astonished when they go about their normal lives. She could have been working when this happened, you know.

Now the media doctor was just being Queen Asshole, but don't blame this incident on the the nurse who was following instructions. What have we all been told all the time? You can't get it on public transport, that's what we were told and that's what she believed.

How many people have been infected already?
I am glad they are sending her to Emory, but they should have send Mr.Duncan to Emory right away.

It's probable that nothing could have saved the poor guy, but the collateral damage could have been greatly reduced.
