Baby killed in Jerusalem terror attack was American citizen

Source: WPXI

The U.S. State Department says the 3-month-old baby killed in a suspected terrorist attack in Jerusalem was reportedly an American citizen.

Wednesday evening, a Palestinian man drove onto a sidewalk in a busy intersection in Jerusalem, plowed through several passengers and crashed into a light rail station, injuring eight people and killing the American infant.

A medic and first responder described the incident from eyewitness accounts: "They said the car came out of nowhere. The stroller flew into the air and the baby was found 10 meters away from the stroller.”

The U.S. government hasn't released any further details about the American baby and hasn't said if they plan any kind of response. Meanwhile, Israeli authorities do believe the incident was an act of terrorism. And the spokesperson for Israel's Prime Minister's Office said the 21-year-old suspect was, in fact, a member of Hamas.

Israeli police officers inspect a car at the scene of an attack in Jerusalem, Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014. A Palestinian motorist with a history of anti-Israel violence slammed his car into a crowded train station in Jerusalem on Wednesday, killing a three-month-old baby girl and wounding several people in what police called a terror attack. Behind every terrorist stand dozens of men and women, without whom he could not engage in terrorism. They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.

Ayelet Shaked, Member of Israeli Parliament

Quoted in http://zcomm.org/sendpress/eyJpZCI6NzMwNzA5LCJ2aWV3IjoiZW1haWwifQ/

Sorry to pop your little pro-Israeli agit-prop bubble, but Hamas agreed to join a Palestinian Unity Government back in April 2014, one founded upon a recognition of Israel's right to exist, a renunciation of violence and an acceptance of all previously-negotiated accords. This (Palestinian unity) was something Netanyahu and his cronies could not abide. Why, they (Likud) might actually have to negotiate with those Palestinian 'snakes.'

Mothers of all Palestinians must be killed: Israeli MP

http://www.presstv.ir/detail/2014/07/16/371556/israel-must-kill-all-palestinian-mothers/

Not enough to kill, harass, and herd Palestians into a reservation like we did, and do, to Native Americans, but wants to go in a kill off their mothers so they can't continue.

Wrong, on all sides, perhaps especially the one you've chosen.

How can anyone justify killing innocent people whatever the cause?

Yes, Israel's attacks do kill babies and are sometimes heavy-handed but a) Israel doesn't act without provocation and b) Israel doesn't specifically target innocent people.

When we kill innocent people with our drones, we don't target innocent people and are not gleeful when innocent people die in a drone attack.

Not only that a certain variety of terrorism (my post may get hidden if I were to be descriptive) doesn't care about innocent people but they also celebrate it. Barbaric indeed.

Numerous sources in Israel-Palestine are reporting that an Israeli settler ran over two young Palestinian girls with a car, killing 5-year-old Enas Shawkat and injuring the other, outside a kindergarten in the occupied West Bank today, near Ramallah.

The exact details are still being fleshed out, yet it is clear that it was a hit-and-run, while the children were crossing the main street in Singel, a small Palestinian village often attacked by Israeli settlers and their military.
