Senate Control May Be Decided by Runoff Votes in Louisiana and Georgia

Source: NY Times

"NEW ORLEANS — As the 2014 midterm elections barrel toward a close and Democrats brace for losses around the country, operatives in both parties are already preparing for likely runoff elections here and in Georgia — and the chance that control of the Senate will not be determined until next year."

If Dumb Fux Nooz claims the Repugs are "pulling away" how could the result come down to a couple of runoffs? Oh that's right- Librul liez.

I think Landrieu(sp?) is going to win in LA.

And Nunn just might pull it off in GA. IF Fulton County gets their asses out to vote - I think she'll win.

Now - I thought it was allllllllllll in the bag and the Republicans were going to win the Senate and America hates itself so they are going to vote for a bunch of fiscal conservatives(lies, lies, more damned lies) who scream God Bless America and No Place Else?

Oh wait? That's not true? It's just two races that hang in the balance? That's interesting.

I'll never forget 1994. Woody Jenkins was polling ahead of her. He was tea bag before tea bag was in style for Republicans.

I am a busy person - aren't we all - and I never answer polls. I say a polite "thank you" and hang up. My husband doesn't answer them either, so there are two dedicated democrats who won't show up there. But we sure as HECK show up when it's time to vote.

Given the destruction of the entire social safety net in the US that the Tea Party candidates are PROMISING to do, they are still going to be voted in by some of the poorest states in the country. You have to admire how the RW has convinced the poorest people that the reason they're so poor is that Obama and the Democrats have taken all their money and given it to "The Blacks".

If you want to see what a conservative USA will look like, take a gander at the conservative paradise of Mississippi.

With only those two the Republicans can throw money at it hand over fist. My take is we'd win Louisiana, but end up losing Georgia in a runoff.

(note: I have donated to Nunn)

We have a Libertarian candidate on the ballot in Georgia who is more than likely siphoning votes from republican David Perdue. In a runoff those who voted for the Libertarian would likely hold their nose and vote republican, not to mention the huge influx of big money supporting the republicans.
