Child prostitution busts in Colombia might land 50 US citizens in jail
Nov 3, 2014 posted by Adriaan Alsema

Recent operations in Colombia that resulted in the arrest of dozens of alleged sex traffickers might land dozens of US citizens suspected of having sex with minors, US authorities told the Miami Herald.

The suspected child molesters came under the attention of the US justice department after a series of busts in the Colombian cities of Medellin, Cartagena and Armenia carried out by both US and Colombian authorities, and an NGO dedicated to combating the sexual exploitation of children.

According to Angie Salazar, a US Immigration and Customs official, investigations following the operations alerted the authorities about dozens of foreigners who are involved in child prostitution in Colombia.

“We’re starting with concrete individuals that we know have already been here and already done it or are in the midst of their travel to come here for the second, third, fourth times to do this,” Salazar told the Miami Herald.

Obviously these people have lot of money to make trips like this. I wouldn't be surprised if there were prominent business, religious, political people involved.

Only wealthy child molesters can afford to travel to and from Colombia for their sick pleasure.

Some people revel in depriving children of their innocence. Others revel in domination, and children are easy victims.

Speaking for myself, the idea of child prostitution is utterly abhorrent. I wish all children could have the same kind of innocent childhood I had. Heck, I get all teary-eyed just looking at Lewis Hine's pictures of child laborers from 100 years ago

The Catholic Church, Jerry Sandusky, Mark Foley, and those horrifying cases involving Jimmy Savile and the BBC in England, seems to insinuate that the elite who practice child rape can do so, because they are protected by institutions of power. If you've noticed a lot of these men have been able to commit these crimes into their senior years. They get away with it because society enables them with their silence. All of those sports commentators who pretended to be shocked by Sandusky, was probably aware of his crimes for years.
Jimmy Savile, who was knighted by the Queen, raped children for about 60 years. He was surrounded by the powerful. It wasn't until he died that his crimes were revealed. And his is one of the more heinous of child rapist. As a society, we should be appalled. We should demand that justice prevails here. There need to be very strict International laws and well as domestic when he comes to child rape.

May they all get long stays in prison. As determined pedophiles, they'll never stop doing what they want. Only thing that will work is to keep them away from society, here and there.
