House Republicans Hire Third Lawyer For Obamacare Lawsuit

House Republicans have hired constitutional lawyer Jonathan Turley to lead their lawsuit against President Barack Obama over the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
The George Washington University Law School professor announced the news on his blog Monday night. He explained that, as an advocate of the separation of powers, he is concerned about what he views as the excesses of the executive branch.

(1,399 posts)There are so many, I see where someone just brought a suit to the Fifth Circuit arguing the ACA is illegal because it originated in the Senate and not the House. They're throwing everything and anything hoping something will stick.
You know, why don't we start filing some lawsuits of our own? Like forcing the government to let citizens who live below the poverty level be able to get a tax credit for the Exchange, that would be a good place to start.
Sometimes I lament that we don't have our own Ministry of Propaganda like the Republicans do. Goebbels would have been positively envious of Ailes, Limbaugh, et al.
