Lawyer: Greenpeace protesters reach plea deal.

Source: Associated Press

The Greenpeace activists charged in a protest at the Procter & Gamble headquarters in Cincinnati plan to accept a plea agreement, according to a defense attorney.
Seven activists scheduled to go to trial in January on felony burglary and vandalism charges will plead guilty on misdemeanor charges of criminal trespassing.

The activists would face up to 30 days in jail each, $250 fines, and community service performed in Cincinnati.
The activists, all from out of state, unfurled large banners from P&G's two towers on March 4; the banners protested the use of palm oil supplies which Greenpeace claims links to rainforest destruction. The activists used zip lines as the protest was filmed for Greenpeace from a helicopter.
