Walker says 'molotov' instead of 'mazel tov' in letter about menorah was typo

MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin Republican Gov. Scott Walker has said he doesn't remember sending a letter about a menorah that is signed, "Thank you and Molotov."

"My guess is it was a typo," Walker said Wednesday when asked about the slip-up by reporters at the governor's mansion.

Walker spoke at the Republican Jewish Coalition spring meeting this year and mentioned that the governor's mansion has a "menorah candle." He said Wednesday that menorah is the same one that he displayed at the Milwaukee County courthouse following the request from Gimbel.

Walker said he suspects the letter was written around 2003 but he doesn't remember it.

And Microsoft's Word flagged it as a misspelling and recommended Molotov.

Now don't get wild on me as I have no good things to say/think about the asshat but MS Word will auto spell correct as it wants, unless you turn the feature off.

That, and someone, anyone, needs to edit.

Also, upon checking, mozel tov is a variant of mazel tov.
