Report: ISIS Fighters Getting Ebola (WHO investigating outbreak in Mosul)

Source: Tampa Bay 10 News.com

The World Health Organization is investigating reports that ISIS militants have been showing up at an Iraq hospital with Ebola.

Iraq's pro-government newspaper, al Sabaah, says the disease was brought to Mosul by militants arriving from several African countries.

The reports are not confirmed, but the World Health Organization is trying to reach out to officials in ISIS held areas.

We can warn people time and time again how the virus is spread, but their cultures will take precedence over not dying.
During the middle days of this latest Ebola outbreak, there were stories of Red Cross workers being attacked by the locals over attacks on their culture. Nevermind that over 7,000 people have died.
And somehow, we are the bad guys for pointing that out.

Ebola doesn't give a damn what your religion or politics are. I wonder if these fools actually tried importing people with ebola into their ranks honestly believing that they would somehow could contain and weaponize it ? If so, did they even care that they too would be exposed ? Was the intention fully aimed at death and destruction for their enemies ?.....you decide.

Ebola in a war zone controlled by religious fanatics could spread like wildfire. The medical infrastructure is crippled and ISIS won't cooperate with western medical personnel, or even let them into the area.

The Daily Mail is reporting that ISIS has executed 11 Mosul doctors in past few weeks.

Given how hard it is to get Ebola, given that ISIS isn't operating where Ebola is, the basic question then becomes, How would these people have gotten it? And of course, it's an unconfirmed report.

that the Iraq paper is 'concerned' about "Two Ebola and 26 HIV AIDS cases were registered" registered? does the Iraq gov. require an AIDS test?

If there was really an "outbreak" of Ebola like that usa media is reporting, there would be piles of sick people and major panic headlines.

Some local news affiliate

publishes an article in which

The Daily Mail

reports(sic that

An Iraqi pro-government newspaper

is referring to

"reports"

that the WHO is investigating claims happening at an unnamed hospital and town.

...

There's at least two points in that chain where the sources are known to freely make stuff up out of whole cloth.

Fri Jan 2, 2015, 11:35 PM
Jan 2015

"The symptoms of Ebola, which include nausea and vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and bruising, are similar to those of other diseases including malaria and yellow fever meaning it could easily have have been misdiagnosed.

In addition, very few ISIS fighters are believed to have travelled up from West Africa where the Ebola outbreak originated with most coming from areas where there have been no reports of the disease."

That said, there is no reason that someone from West Africa could not develop an infection after leaving the country. It happened here in Dallas.
