Send a Christmas Card To Jimmy Carter

Former President Jimmy Carter is currently undergoing treatment for Cancer that has metastasized throughout his body.

He's fighting the Cancer as best he can.

It will probably take a miracle for him to survive this type of Cancer; but miracles do happen.

I am praying for him, and I'm sure he would appreciate others praying for him as well.

I'm also sure that he would appreciate getting Christmas cards from those who care about him.

He lives just a few blocks from the post office in Plains, Georgia; so you can send him a Christmas card addressed to:

Jimmy Carter
Plains, Ga. 31780

President Carter's legacy is the Carter Center

during the Iranian Hostage crisis. Geez, I must have only been about nine or so. And I remember him looking so incredibly tired near the end of his presidency. My father had the news on all of the time...

And just I got a sense that he was just an all-around great fellow. I really respect and admire the man, and what he has done post-presidency.

I hope he stays in remission.

Recommended and thanks for posting.

I also donate as much as I can to The Carter Foundation, which has a remarkable record of eradicating truly horrific Third World diseases such as River Blindness and others, and have donated my labor and money to Habitats For Humanity, which builds cheap houses for the needy.

This is a fellow who showed up personally, 91 years old and with cancer, to work on a Habitats house (along with his wife). Beat that. He is a great American who has changed the lives of so many folks around the world with his commitment to world peace and better lives for the less fortunate.

I am honored to have once shook the hand of this great man way back in 1976.
