WASHINGTON -- As President Barack Obama enters his last year in office, there is one indisputable truth about his tenure: The nadir came on Dec. 14, 2012, when 20 first-graders and six educators were killed in Newtown, Connecticut.

That morning, Obama was reduced to tears for the first time while in the Oval Office. That afternoon, he struggled to say the words as he addressed the nation on the unconscionable tragedy.

The difficulties didn't end there.

Two days later, Obama traveled to Newtown, where he walked through the halls of the high school visiting with first responders and consoling family members of the victims, before delivering a memorial speech to the shaken town. Far less is known about those visits, in large part because the president has not talked about them.

Valerie Jarrett, the president's close adviser, accompanied him that day. And three years later, she spoke with The Huffington Post about the taxing, emotional experience.

does or goes through before the cameras get turned on at him. Its especially significant in the light of Sandy Hook deniers and how cynical a lot of us are to "official" statements.

Thanks for finding this for us.

This particular story is very sad. But that is the nature of his job. Leader of this country where many haven't got a clue what that means. He is our leader and stands for the United States of American. He is the most respected man in the world, but not by many in his own country.

.And this story says more than almost anything else about President Barack Obama..

I saw some very recent pictures of him. Then for some reason I clicked on some pictures while he was running in 2007. He has aged, and the toll can be seen in his face and his eyes.

Are the "Sandy Hook Truthers," who don't give a shit about the truth.

They have made up their "minds," with help from that SOB Alex Jones.

When I read about that "professor of communications" who was harassing families of the dead, I blew up.
