Coal Magnate Tells Trump to Lower His Expectations.
'Although optimistic about the future of the coal industry under the Trump administration, Robert Murray, CEO of Murray Energy Corp., the largest underground coal mining company in the U.S., does not expect the president-elect to bring back coal mining jobs or spur new coal-fired power plant construction.
Ive asked President-elect Trump to temper his comments about bringing coal miners back and bringing coal back. It will not happen, Murray told POWER during an exclusive interview. The destruction that has happened is permanent.'>>>

(14,918 posts)Contemptible SOB was too thrilled with the prospect of an anti-regulation, anti-environment, pro-corporate fat cat Trump regime to level with the rank and file workers in his industry or the people of the regions it has exploited for generations. "Temper his comments" my Appalachian ass. Trump lied, and to whatever extent Murray supported him in any way, he helped to propagate the lie and is fully culpable. No room to wiggle out of it now with your weasel words, Murray.
