He wants us to see Adonis and we see Shrek: Terrorism analyst shreds Trumps narcissistic behaviorERIN CORBETT

CNN panelists discussed President Donald Trumps upcoming trip to Florida, noting that he needs this. Senior political reporter Nia-Malika Henderson said, For his spirit, and his soul, and how he feels about himself, he needs to be in that comfortable environment.
The panelists seemed to agree that the president is just better when hes out of town. Henderson commented on Trump saying previously how he wanted to be in the White House all the time working. Its not good for him, she said. He needs to be out Hes like Home Alone meets Citizen Kane when hes there.
Political analyst Phil Mudd was then asked for his take, and whether he believes the president is doing better when hes out of town. I think this is pretty straightforward. Making this pretty complicated. This is a guy who looks in the mirror and he wants us to see Adonis and we see Shrek, said Mudd.
I mean its not that complicated. Mudd went on to explain that the media gave Trump millions of dollars worth of free coverage during his campaign. He added, What we have now is very simple. The man cant take a punch and as soon as the punch gets turned on him, he turns on the people who make him look like Shrek.
We have a narcissistic president that cant take a punch. It aint hard, Mudd said.

(26,260 posts)1. I don't see Shrek. I see Nero.
Admittedly, I've never seen Shrek, but I didn't think he was a bad guy.
Not only does he act like Nero, he kind of looks like him, too.

(26,260 posts)5. Perhaps - There is some very strong similarities
Caligula's incestuous relationship with is sister vs trump*'s creepy relationship with his daughter.
And instead of making a horse a Senator, he's making some real jack asses cabinet members.

(58,724 posts)2. This is an odd analogy
Wasn't Shrek a nice ogre who was mistreated because of his appearance?

How well did he get along with his mommy?
