Former Vice President Joe Biden will join House Democrats on Wednesday to speak in support of the Affordable Care Act.
According to a media advisory from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosis (D-CA) office, Biden will join the Pelosi and House Democrats to mark 7 years since President Barack Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law, leading to improved health and economic security for hard-working Americans.
CNN reported last week, citing multiple unnamed House Republican sources, that House Republicans had scheduled a vote on the American Health Care Act, which would replace Affordable Care Act, on Thursday.
Republicans have been critical of some groups linked to former President Obama such as Organizing for Action, staffed in part by members of his two presidential campaigns for their taking part in organizing attendance at congressional town hall events across the country, many of which have focused on Republicans plan to replace Obamacare.
Some have even suggested that Obama himself, who is still living in Washington, D.C. to allow his youngest daughter to finish high school there, is organizing a shadow government.
