LaVar Ball warns Donald Trump to 'stay in our lane' during bonkers CNN interview

Watch as LaVar Ball just lashed out at Donald Trump and refused to thank him for allegedly helping in the release of his son from a jail in China, all while mocking and trolling the president during a wild interview on CNN. I can't believe this is the state of politics in 2017. Bring back Barack Obama, please.

LaVar Bell then went on to dismiss his son's shoplifting as a major crime, explaining that he apologized and that he has seen much worse growing up in low-income neighborhoods.

"He fessed up to it," Ball said. "It was an impulse thing, a bad decision at a bad time, that's all it was for an 18-year old you never done anything wrong.

thinking that the legal systems in the rest of the world are as mild as ours. If you travel abroad, you have to remember that you have no Constitutional rights; such as a lawyer, phone call when arrested, etc. Even crimes that are considered minor in the U.S. are taken VERY seriously, elsewhere.

Saudi is hard on defaming the royal family. Singapore is very tough on chewing gum. That is why I think that community service in China would have been a fair penalty as well as educational.

1. Selling gum. According to Singapore Statutes Online, the first-time penalty for the selling of gum can be as high as $100,000 or a prison sentence of up to two years. Penalties are subject to rise with each conviction, but certain chewing gums that have medical benefits will be allowed.Aug 4, 2015

8. That has always been true, to an extent. The "Ugly American" is well-known.

However, we have a lot of Europeans visiting or moving here, with an attitude that we should behave more like them. Screw Europe. They don't have anything to teach us about decency or fairness. We are the ones who had to pull their butts out of two world wars that they started.

The only upside is Ball's being able to shine a bright light on trump's poorly-concealed racism.

Maybe it will keep 45 from doing more serious damage.

I don't care for Ball, but he has made a few good points.
