Nikki Haley, These 16 Billionaires Have Donated To PAC Ahead of Possible 2024 Run
- Forbes, Oct. 20, '21. These 16 Billionaires Have Already Donated To N. Haleys PAC Ahead Of A Possible 2024 Run.
Nikki Haley launched a political action committee in January, after years of speculation about a possible 2024 presidential run. She quickly found a handful of deep-pocketed supporters. Within six months, 16 billionaires and 7 spouses of billionaires donated to her group, called Stand For America.
Officially, the PAC is supposed to be focused on electing conservative candidates in the 2022 midterms. Unofficially, it may serve as something of a bellwether for a potential presidential bid two years later. The early data suggests that Haley, whose group is only allowed to raise a maximum of $5,000 annually from each donor, could be a favorite among wealthy Republicans.
Eleven of the billionaire donors who donated to Haleys PAC had previously supported Donald Trumps 2020 campaign. One of them, SPAC investor Chamath Palihapitiya, gave to Joe Bidens effort last year.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal earlier this month, Haley, who previously served as South Carolina governor and ambassador to the United Nations under Donald Trump, made it clear that she was waiting to see whether her former boss might run as well. In the beginning of 2023, should I decide that theres a place for me, should I decide that theres a reason to move, I would pick up the phone and meet with [Trump,] she said. I would talk to him and see what his plans are. I would tell him about my plans. We would work on it together.
In the meantime, here are the 23 billionaire donors who have already opened their wallets for Haleys PAC, listed in alphabetical order.

That should be her opponents' messaging.

It will be hilarious.

No Trump humper will ever run against him, if he decides to run.
But it could still be hilarious to see her, and even other humpers like Cruz, DeSantis, etc. be led to the belief that the Don won't run again, and so begin their campaigns, spend a bunch of money, and a lot of energy, rallies etc. Only to find out as 2024 gets closer, that the fickle orange turd suddenly decides to run. Then watch one by one, they voluntarily drop out, after so much expenditure, bowing out to their lord and master.

The source of many of these people's wealth was inheritance, just like Trump's, but they don't show that.
