How right wing religion influences right wing GOP politics and the danger of this alliance

https://signalpress.blogspot.com/2022/06/how-doctrine-and-theology-of-american.html

America's founding fathers, in separating all religious practice including Christianity, from its representative democracy, actually set the Christian church free to be exactly what Jesus intended it to be. Now false apostles and prophets are putting on a veneer of Christianity with the intention of using it for their own purposes and for their own benefit. The alliance between the Christian right and right wing Republican politics, which is the domain of the prosperous and exists to expand their prosperity, will eventually unravel and fall apart. But not before this aberration of the Christian faith is used to its fullest extent to attempt to destroy a democratic government that is the only major obstacle to complete domination by the richest of the rich.

Regardless of the social issues incorporated into that agenda and platform to lure Christian voters, the outcome of an election that puts that mixture of reconstructionist, "kingdom now" dominion theology and the wealthy oligarchy closer to control is far, far worse in the mind of this Christian voter than the outcome of an election in which a group of progressive politicians favor abortion rights, LGBTQ rights and minority rights that are still not equal with the white, Christian majority in this country. White Christians are still the most privileged, least persecuted Americans. The advance of the rights of ethnic and social minorities has not affected their rights or their status one bit.

But, we are already a long way down the road toward a reconstructed republic. Democrats have just a few months--do you get that??--a few months to get themselves together to stop this and reverse the trend.

That began as a foreboding dystopian "prophecy" of Xtians being summarily executed for their faith. There apparently are edicts in that religion about being in the blessed spotlight from a diety if they're persecuted. So they confabulate such scenarios no matter how unrealistic---
All while reinforcing and rewarding their own for simpleton LGBTQ bashing.
Even today I must work with one of such delusional sort, denier of climate change, blatantly misogynistic control freak, Trump asslicker even though Trump would deport him.
It takes all my strength to stay silent. I need my job.

There is so much cultural and social baggage pushed into Christian faith and practice, and into its doctrine and theology, that it has become impossible to find the real deal.

My response to a lot of the baggage that has absolutely nothing at all to do with Christianity, like being anti-vax, or against climate change or critical race theory and racial reconciliation, or any of a hundred different things, is "Where do you get that from?" and "What authority to they have to make that assertion?" Almost all of it is inference, or it came from someone they know who is a pastor, preacher, prophet or prophetess.

Christianity is really a very simple faith and attempting to create "positions" out of its practice on ever possible issue that comes up requires taking the Bible out of its historical, cultural and literary context to make it fit with ideas that its respective authors would not recognize is why it becomes a pseudo-Christian faith, not the real thing.

We will now see exactly how sincere most Christians are about their claim of the sanctity of human life applying to the unborn. For all the bravado, we have seen surprisingly little real action to back up the words from many Christians when it comes to actually helping women facing this choice to make a better one. With all of their money, influence and power, the Evangelical and Charismatic/Pentecostal branches of the Christian church that are so adamanty pro-life have made very little effort to do anything at all to stop it from a ministry perspective, yet collectively today they owe billions of dollarrs in debt on capacious edifices that stand empty for all but a few hours a week. And I think nothing is going to continue to be their theme. The Democrats and the Libs they love to hate will be the ones who do the real ministry.
