Trump's Brazen Tax Cheating Revealed

Donald Trump knowingly committed dozens of brazen tax frauds during the six years when he ran for office and was President, my analysis of the Congressional report on his tax returns and other documents shows. This explains why he fought all the way to the Supreme Court in a failed effort to keep his tax information secret.

One technique he used at least 26 times between 2015 and 2020 was as simple as it was flagrant. Trump filed sole proprietor reports, known as Schedule C, that showed huge business expenses despite having zero revenue. That created losses which Trump used to offset his income from work and investments, thus lowering his income taxes. Additional Schedule Cs had expenses exactly equal to revenues while only a few showed profits.

Trump knew this was unlawful because he lost two trials over his 1984 income taxes in which he did the exact same thing, a story I broke in June 2016. Both judges, in scathing opinions, ruled that Trump committed civil tax fraud.

That Trump persisted in using the same fraudulent technique in six years of recent tax returns is powerful evidence of mens rea or criminal intent. This device is not Trump’s most lucrative tax cheating technique, but it is the easiest for jurors to understand should Trump be indicted on tax charges.

One has to ask...............where the FUCK has the IRS been all these years??????????? Seriously! Let alone looking into all the other TENS OF THOUSANDS OF UBER RICH TAX RETURNS........

I am so so tired of watching this country's WHITE PRIVILEGED, and WEALTH PRIVILEGED, getting away with everything, and making off with everything.........

It is an absolute Travesty that Trump & Spawn haven't been nailed for COUNTLESS counts of tax evasion and the massive amounts of outright flagrant criminal fraud. Same with thousands of other Corporate executives, and the Corporations they work for.

This has been planned and executed for so long by the Republicans fucking with the IRS. Year after Year of IRS employee cut backs to where the IRS figures it is easier to go after the low hanging fruit. The quite literally don't have the high level expertise of CPA's and TAX attorneys needed to wade into the big boys and girls tax returns.

I remember when HW was in office. It was reported that he had a meeting with the head of the IRS. Seriously. AND HW told the head of the IRS he was giving him enough money to hire 20,000 additional auditors. The head of the IRS said GREAT! Then HW told him that they were to target the 15K to 25K earners, because THAT was where the fraud is taking place. The head of the IRS stared at HW and said #1 if it was that group, all the audit might turn up is maybe a couple of hundred at best. #2 most of those people are hourly wage earners and get a 1040? and how are they gonna get away with any fraud with that???? #3 he said that their research had well documented and proven, for decades, that the serious and big money fraud is committed in the 200+ thousand dollar crowd and that that fraud was some major dollars. He told HW that the higher the yearly earnings, the more fraud they encountered, and the amount of the fraud was much greater in each case, which resulted in MAJOR dollars of Tax Evasion. The report said that HW said, if you target the 15-25K taxpayers, I will give you the money, otherwise forget being able to get any new auditors. Obviously, the guy running the IRS didn't get any new auditors. The IRS is currently operating with only 60% of staffing minimums, and is one to three years behind examining all tax returns...........

Some famous French guy, back when our Democracy evolved in the 1700's stated:

"Democracy will work, until some groups and politicians realize that they can vote themselves money"

And here we are, with that situation currently being, the law of the land.................

And every year since Reagan was corruptly and criminally, and using Treason "installed", I have watched it getting progressively worse..........The Fucking Over of the entire middle and lower class, at this point in time, is quite literally un-fathomable.....

They weren't caught corruptly installing Reagan, and HW, and W. and we, in the lower and middle classes have paid the price for the rich to get richer, exponentially....................

Why hasn't this and many other things ever been addressed/????????????/

The only thing the Republicans and Democrats in the House and Senate can agree on unanimously, is not to do anything that will effect themselves, the Corporations, the Uber Rich, or any and all major donors to their campaigns. Sure there are a few of them that are willing to try to do something, but in the end, just look at the Net Worth of the house members and senate members. They all have so much more free time when they don't have to campaign for grass root money of five or ten bucks at a time, when some corporation or single Uber Rich gives them more all in one donation than they can get from running around getting somewhat tiny donations from the people.

Some French? guy back in the 1700's, when we first declared us a Democracy said:

"Democracy will work just fine until some political party or group of Uber Wealthy figure out that they can vote themselves money......."

For fun, check out, (google) the net worth of politicians in Congress and Senate, Republicans and Democrats alike. You may be shocked at what you see..............Ever wonder why a candidate was willing to seek and spend Tens of Millions of dollars to get and to keep a job that only pays a couple of hundred thousands a year......LOL

I can remember when Lyndon Johnson basically went into the presidency without much money, and came out with a Net Worth of over twenty million a few years later. And, don't forget the massive amount of knowledge they gain in advance of the public and stock markets, that they can use (insider trading it's called) to make their networth soar..........

George Carlin said something like: It's a private group, AND YOU AIN'T IN IT FOLKS...............NOT SO FUNNY ANYMORE, IS IT....

Trump did not sell off his interest in the company, therefore it was his responsibility to file returns for it.

Trump employed Qusay and Uday to (supposedly) manage the day to day operations. A sole proprietor can have any number of employees.

That losses from sched c can offset income from other sources like income. I'm not an accountant but I've never seen that happen on my filings. I have always thought it was more like investments. If you make money you have to pay taxes on it, if you lose money you don't get to use that loss against your income. If I'm wrong, I think TurboTax needs to redo their equations.

... was to dismantle the IRS. He had at least half the IRS employees fired, and the ones who were left were critically short-handed. Does anyone remember that? I sure do. He probably cackled with glee when he did it too.

By the way Chump did the same thing at the State Department when career diplomats were laid off or fired by the thousands. I remember there were a lot of DUers protesting at the time, and even Rachel Maddow did a few shows about it.

Every Cabinet secretary that Chump appointed was hired for one reason - do as much damage as you can. Shut it down, dismantle the system, lay people off, slash their budgets.

Are the Democrats trying to undo and fix this damage? I don't think so. If they are, I'm not hearing about it. I think the Dems are just trying to tread water and fight off more damage while we still can. FDR's New Deal died at the hands of Chump.

He didn't want to do the work that's required or "make the country great again". He ran so he could place the people in charge who would look the other way at his criminality.

He's a crook, has always been a crook. To think that because of some stupid reality TV show, millions in this country thought he was a good businessman.

They also need to look into the Kushner family returns.

I am SO ready for Friday to come. That's when his tax returns will be released to the public.

Also, the zero revenue/huge expenses thing is a massive red flag. No one in hell is going to believe Trump runs a business that generates zero revenue. I can understand expenses vastly higher than revenue, which is why the Trump Shuttle and his casinos all failed. But come on: no revenue at all?
