A Great Reading for the Season by John Henry Faulk

We're still in the 12 Days of Christmas, so I'd like to share a great performance you will enjoy.

John Henry Faulk, a gifted storyteller and radio personality, is no longer with us, but many of you may be familiar with his Christmas story, as NPR regularly broadcasts it during the holiday season.

What many may not know is that Faulk was blacklisted in the '50s. He eventually won his lawsuit against AWARE, inc. (an anti-communist group) which helped end the blacklisting.

This story has been one of my favorites for many years. If you've heard it, you know why. If you haven't, you owe it to yourself to listen. It's beautiful.

Enjoy:

And apologies if anyone else has posted this previously
