JFK Assassination Wiki Article Anonymously Edited By Congress, Report

A Wikipedia page about the assassination of John F. Kennedy was changed to claim Lee Harvey Oswald, as well as the man who killed him, Jack Ruby, acted “on behalf of the regime of Fidel Castro," a Twitter account that tracks the U.S. Congress’ Wikipedia edits said.
Congress-edits, is a"bot that tweets anonymous Wikipedia edits that are made from IP addresses in the U.S. Congress." The account was created by software developer Ed Summers, who stated on his personal blog he was inspired by the twitter account Parliament WikiEdits, which follows changes on Wikipedia articles by Great Britain’s parliament.
The congressional account Tuesday publicized a change to John F. Kennedy’s assassination page:

While the articles directly concerning the Warren Commission and Oswald were unchanged and continue to state that he acted alone, the assassination of JFK article was changed to add both Oswald and Ruby acted “on behalf of the regime of Fidel Castro." However, it was then changed back.

even though I don't have kids...I don't know if I'd be accepted, or even exactly
how much influence I'd have, but it seems we need people to keep an eye on those who
would try and revise history.
