Robin Williams' children react to suicide :(

Wednesday, August 13, 2014

I'll never understand how he could be loved so deeply and not find it in his heart to stay': Robin Williams' children react to suicide

Actor's youngest son Cody says 'I will miss him and take him with me everywhere I go for the rest of my life, and will look forward, forever, to the moment when I get to see him again'

Robin Williams’ three children have spoken of the “immeasurable loss” of their “father and best friend” and their struggle to come to terms with his suicide.

The 63-year-old actor was found dead on Monday after hanging himself at his home in Tiburon, California.

His daughter, Zelda Williams, talked of the last day they spent together on his recent birthday, when she and her brothers shared “gifts and laughter”.

“He was always warm, even in his darkest moments,” the 25-year-old said.

There will never be answers for them, but I do hope they can find comfort in all the joy he brought to them and so many.

It is never under these circumstances, we were told by a minister unless you have had thoughts of suicide you do not understand what they experienced. For the first time I began to understand why there are some many questions of why. Unfortunately we never get past our experiences, you hear or read a story and your pain returns. May God bless his family. He was loved by so many, has left us with many good memories, you always knew you was going to be in for a laugh when he was performing. We can say he gave us the ability to laugh, a wonderful gift. We will miss him.

He shared the same love of life and wanted so much good for everyone, he hated to see anyone unhappy, or worrying. Robin William's children will have a very hard time with this. He was a very good man - it's almost unfathomable for those left behind to understand how one could choose to end it, but that pain has been hidden so well. I wish them eventual peace and my heart truly aches for what they're going through.

I wish there was a way to track those punks down and break all their fingers so they couldn't troll grieving people any more.

Note this is a fantasy that stops short of the DP. I'm Irish and don't want to kill enemies, it's much better they live long and miserable lives and do it in public.
