Over the past several weeks – Israel’s constant bombing of innocent civilians in Gaza, Palestine has become a front page story. And while many people cling to their own biases and personal beliefs relative to whether or not they view Israel’s actions justified … what is concerning is how so few people actually understand what led to Israel turning Gaza into a death zone. Well – the Israeli government lied to start a war.

In June of this year – three Israeli teens went missing. The Israeli government knew they were dead but put a gag order on Israeli news organizations so they were unable to report this. They flooded Palestinians towns with Israeli military(source), arrested hundreds of Palestinians including people let go in prior political agreements (source), and looted their homes of their valuables (source) all under the pretext of looking for the “missing teenagers”. Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu said there was “unequivocal proof” that Hamas was responsible for what he called “kidnappings” (source) and the US media reported it exactly as he said it. If you were an American – you were told by the US media via the Israeli government that Hamas kidnapped three teenagers (source). Netanyahu said he would show the evidence for the world to see (source) … days and weeks went by with no evidence but plenty of military actions against the Palestinian people.

Netanyahu incited violence against Palestinians and said that the Palestinian people will pay for these three kids getting kidnapped (source). And that’s exactly what he got. Over 10 Palestinians were killed by the IDF or by Israeli citizens in the coming days; one of them was burned alive by six Jews (source). One Palestinian American teenager was filmed getting nearly beaten to death by the Israeli Defense Forces for simply not being Jewish (source). There are to this day gangs of Jewish Israelis roaming the streets in Israel and Palestine looking to harm Palestinians just because of their ethnicity (source). The message was – you hurt one of ours and we’re going make you pay the price.

For over a week – the Israeli government bombed Gaza unprovoked. No missiles came from Gaza – the Israeli government said it was “retaliating” for the death of three Israeli teenagers who they said Hamas was responsible for killing. Over a week of bombing Palestinian civilians in Gaza (source). When asked for proof that Hamas was involved – this Israeli colonel said Israel didn’t need proof (source) they were simply going to bomb Palestine into the next century. Operation “Protective Edge” began on July 7th (source) for what Israel called a response to rockets attacking Israel. In reality – Hamas was really just retaliating against Israeli aggression that led to the murder of Palestinian civilians.

The word "Occupation" is a word that must be used to describe what happened in 1948. And since most people who support Israel are in such deep seated denial that the word does not exist for them inside the context of the founding of their nation, I don't know how the situation can be resolved.

was actually a "War of Independence of Palestinians", they could not just call it that.

Sometimes to get to the root of thee problem is to go to the source and that was the pretext of how that "nation" was birthed.

100% of the Palestinians people reduced to 45% of Palestinian lands, so "victims" of German atrocities could have a homeland of which to carry out their own atrocities on people that had nothing to do with their plight.

It was set up to fail from the start. It was set up to systematically deny Palestinians the right to exist and live peacefully in Palestine, and any push back resulted in confiscation of what was left of Palestine lands.

This is genocide. This is not good. The Zionist bowel movement is not good.

The "sources" do not say what the author represents. The unsourced lines are not supported by facts.
Meanwhile, no one asks why there was no Palestinian State. One was created by the UN in 1947. The Arab nations invaded Israel in May 1948 in order to"push the Jews into the Sea." After the cease fire in 1948 all of the West Bank and Jerusalem had no Jews in it. But no one established an Arab State. In 1955 Jordan annexed the entire West Bank and Jerusalem, taking the land (but not the people therein). After the 1967 war, Israel offered the establishment of an Arab State in 99% of the West Bank. At that time there were no Jews in the West Bank. Israel had only one condition for theis Arab State, a peace agreement. This offer was rejected on September 1, 1967 by the Arab League.

Obviously every thread on the current Palestinian holocaust cannot address the entire history since 1947. More importantly, your mini-history of that time and place is full of unsourced, misleading, and distorted claims. Historical revisionism at its most blatant. And to no one's surprise, YOUR post contains neither a single "source" or a disclosure as to what YOU represent.

10. Your pro-Israel argument ignores history and facts in order to make Israel out to be the 'victim'

Do you even know why the Arab nations invaded Israel in 1948? The Israeli argument seems to be that Israel was just an all-innocent non-hostile nation that just happened to have accidentally killed over 20,000 unarmed Palestinian civilians during the 1948 war. What really happened was that the Zionists started destroying Palestinian villages and killing civilians to make way for the nation of Israel. Later on the nation of Palestine was unfairly split, giving 56% to the Zionists despite Jews making up less than 1/3 of the population. This started the war in 1948 which led to other Arab nations getting involved. However, the Zionists were already prepared for this and were well armed and had tons of experience from killing Palestinian civilians.

Yes, Goldberg gets sick access, and why? Because the former Israeli corporal is the living embodiment of the Israel lobby in American politics: Jewish leaders read him closely, they trust him. And any ambitious Democratic politician, say Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton, who wants to kiss the tuchus of the Israel lobby can do so readily by sitting down across from him and performing in such a manner that Goldberg will proclaim “masterful,” as he does of Hillary’s mind. That performance here is pure toughness. Hillary repeatedly takes a position to the right of Obama, i.e., that the Palestinians stage-manage civilian deaths to win the sympathy of an anti-Semitic world. This is the very worst moment, Goldberg gets to be the sensitive interlocutor:
