Fight for 15.... Workers Rap

We are the Workers Organizing Committee of Chicago (WOCC) a union of Chicago retail and food workers who have come together to fight for respect and a livable wage of $15.00 an hour. We represent over 100 different employers, our backgrounds and stories differ greatly but we have all struggled to survive and support our families despite our hard work.

I think the people who made this video and also the people who performed in it are really talented.
There are so many great labor campaigns and wage campaigns going on now. It's a really exciting time now. Every day I look on the internet and I'm hearing about a new labor campaign, or an environmental fight, or other stuff. There's so much stuff going on it's impossible to keep track of it all. Things are really happening. It's very exciting. Eventually I hope we will start seeing some serious bigger victories and some real changes. It would be nice to see all these local movements stitched together somehow.
