words fail - I am crying over this - I knew I should not have watched, but it's a dog and I couldn't stop myself - I sit here surrounded by dogs and could never, ever imagine abandoning them, especially when they need help the most.

I am asking my brother in the UK to make a donation on my behalf - and I know once he sees the video will also contribute.

This tragic story is sadly repeated many times in all locales. I have long supported and worked with animal rescue groups in my area. For years, all pets that I have given a home to have been "rescue" animals, including more unwanted purebred dogs offered to me than I could possibly take. Please get involved with animal rescue groups in your own area.
