Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Pete Hoekstra, aired a spot on Super Bowl Sunday that’s doing more than just raising eyebrows—it’s already sparking protests.

Local religious and community leaders call the ad “racist”. They’ll go public Monday morning asking for an apology from the former U.S. Congressman.

3. I wouldn't call it racist but realistic from the standpoint

that a lot of our debt is bought by far eastern countries and a lot of the products we buy are made overseas.

The woman who is clearly not Chinese speaks in broken English. It was not only demeaning to women, but degrading a racist in tone to all Asian people.
